SEnuke Spetsnaz V3 – Old Configuration

Let Others KnowShare on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterShare on Google+Pin on Pinterest

This guide is here for historical reasons only, please use the latest version.

Note: The previous V2 setup and tool can be viewed here if you prefer to continue using that.

The Spetsnaz Configuration was originally created to enable triple captcha solving in SEnuke when the application itself only supported the use of one captcha solver.

These days however SEnuke has been updated to include the possibility to use two captcha solvers out of the box, though there are still advantages with regards to speed and options for running with our setup.

In particular we can control exactly when and where proxies are used, we can disable proxies for particular tasks (like email collection or pinging) and can even use different sets of proxies at the same time, none of this is supported by SEnuke out of the box. This is quite advanced stuff, and if you are doing ‘day 1 Nuking’ this is probably beyond what you need to know. However the long term cost savings of running OCR how we run it can be huge.

Since the original release of our Spetsnaz Configuration we have changed things considerably, and whilst the new setup is actually considerably simpler it is also much more powerful than before.

If you want to see how powerful OCR solving can be check our OCR results experiment, where we hit almost 70% solving with OCR alone.

Our configuration uses a number of external tools and applications, and you will need at least some of the following:

  • Proxifier – ($39.99 – 31 Day Free Trial Available) This will replace the inbuilt proxy handling system of SEnuke. It allows us to properly rotate proxies and is core to both increasing the success rate and giving us full control of what proxies are used and where.
  • Proxies – If you are running with more than 2 machines then use Squid private proxies with code BHWPROMO for 30% off. However if you are running with just 1 or 2 machines then you can save some money with Buy Proxies. Get 20-30 for the first two copies of SEnuke you use and 50+ if you run with 3 copies.
  • Recaptcha Proxies – you will find the proxies you get above will be given harder recaptcha quite quickly, unless you went and bought perhaps 200-300+ proxies. We have added in a new optional rule for recaptcha that allows you to specify a different set of proxies just for recaptcha use. We are specifically not recommending services for this as they would become swamped and stop working, we have our own service available if you need it please contract us on the support desk (its $100/month for the first install then $25/additional copy of SEnuke to a maximum of 3).
  • Human Captcha – You can use any service you like other than Decapther, we use both ImageTyperz and DeathByCaptcha. The success of each is similar and varies day to day which one works best overall.
  • Captcha Breaker – We now strongly recommend using Captcha Breaker alongside MegaOCR as it both increases the speed of account creation and lowers the usage level on Spamvilla OCR service below. Use the Captcha Breaker discount coupon code ‘zontseo10′ to get 10% off your purchase.

Proxifier Discount: We did a bulk purchase of Proxifier which lowered the cost to $20, we may have some licenses for sale left ask on the helpdesk.

Plus an OCR Recaptcha solver:

  • Captcha Tronix – We have found Captcha Tronix support to be very fast and helpful, this is the service we currently use.
  • Spamvilla – The best results, when it works. Frequent downtime however has been an issue.

A few other OCR services are available, however whilst we may have used some of these in the past we can’t currently recommend them.

  • MegaOCR – ($20-40/month) This is an OCR captcha service that can solve re-captcha and other captcha types, there are higher packages but for SEnuke you will most likely only need the $20 or $40 options. To put it in to perspective we have run 6 copies of SEnuke through the $40 package with ease, remember we we use Captcha Breaker as well to reduce the load. Support however has been quite poor in 2014 and with frequent crashing of the application we were forced to stop using it.
  • Eve – If you are a low volume Nuker you can substitutes MegaOCR for Eve which is a pay per use system that works only for recaptcha at a cost of $0.50/1000 recaptcha. You can only use Eve with SEnuke if you have Captcha Breaker too and it requires a slight edit to the setup (see here).
  • Reverse Proxies OCR – A direct replacement for MegaOCR, this service will solve more than just reCaptcha. Success during testing of this service was quite low in general

It is clear a number of the above services rely on Xrumer to solve captcha, this can be seen simply from that fact when Xrumer updates certain services also update with 1-2 days. If you want to compare success rates for each OCR service check out our comprehensive testing.

The exact software requirements of each configuration is listed in the individual guides below.

We highly recommend going with a solution that uses Captcha Breaker, in particular if you are using any other SEO link building software you will find this program useful again and again. Whilst the one time cost can be off putting it will generally allow people to go one package lower in their Spamvilla subscription, thus it will have paid for itself in subscription savings alone in just a few months. It also gives you a little ‘backup’, if your subscription OCR service goes down for any reason Captcha Breaker will continue to run and solve 50-60% of your captcha still.

Setting Up Proxifier

Download and install Proxifier, we suggest you do a reboot after installation just to be sure it’s working.

Then open Proxifier up and go to ‘File’ > ‘Manage Profiles’, this will open up a folder where your configuration files will be kept

If you have any previous Zont SEO profiles here, or a previous version of our Proxy Filler tool we suggest you remove and back them up to another directory.

Next download the Proxifier Proxy Filler tool and profiles from below and extract it to the ‘Profiles’  directory that we just opened up. Do not create or use any Shortcuts to the files in this directory as that frequently causes issues, always open this directory directly from within Proxifier using the above procedure.

Our proxy filler tools is virus free however it is highly likely to trigger your anti virus program as it’s an EXE file that’s rarely seen by AV programs. Your only choices here are to either trust us and give the program an exception in your AV package or to not use our program. It is 100% the same program we use ourselves to load proxies in to Proxifier.

Proxy Tool V1.3

Open the file ‘proxies.txt’ and copy your HTTPS proxies in, they should be one per line in the format:

ip:port

or

ip:port:username:password

Save your text file, then open the Proxy Filler tool and either ‘Open Proxy List’ or drag and drop the text file on to the bar above the buttons in the app.

Lastly click on ‘Reload Proxies’ and all your proxies will be copied in to all our Proxifier configurations and setup to work properly with SEnuke.

When instructed to do so open the right configuration file in Proxifier by going to ‘File’ > ‘Load Profile’ and selecting the one mentioned in each guide below.

Proxifier Rules Explained

Inside proxifier we have setup 5 different rules which you can see by going to ‘Profile’ > ‘Proxification Rules…’, all the rules below are included in every configuration however they are not all turned on.

These rules combined cover 99% of all possible current uses of proxies and captcha solving in SEnuke.

Do not make changes to our rules unless you know what you are doing!

  1. ReCaptcha Proxies – Disabled by default in all configurations. This allows you to assign specific proxies to recaptcha. In the configuration file it is set to use 222.222.222.222:222 which of course will not work, you would need to add in your own proxies and set proxifier to use them. If you are using our ReCaptcha Proxy service we will do this for you. Generally speaking you should leave this rule alone unless you know how Proxifier works and have an understanding about routing procedures.
  2. Direct Connections – Enabled by default in all configurations. This prevents certain requests from SEnuke from going through your proxies, we do this to speed things up and stopping email authentication issues many proxies give. The rule specifically stops the use of proxies for Outlook mail, SEnuke license check, Death By Captcha, Image Typers and all the ping sites used in SEnuke. If you want to run everything through the proxies untick this rule, however we suggest leaving it enabled.
  3. Direct Connect Google – Disabled by default in all configurations. Similar to the above if you enable this rule then any requests from SEnuke to Google will not go through your proxies, this however does not include ReCaptcha requests which will also either go through your proxies or through the specific ReCaptcha rule if that is enabled. Use this rule if you are using the Niche Research module and not getting any results because Google has banned your IPs. Generally speaking most users should leave this ‘disabled’.
  4. Server & Workers: Send Captcha to Server – Enabled only in Server and Worker Configurations. This takes any requests for OCR captcha solving made by SEnuke and sends them off to your own Captcha Server for solving. By default it sends to 123.123.123.123:80 which will not work, you must follow the instructions in the guide to replace this IP address.
  5. SEnuke > Proxies – Enabled in All. This makes sure that any request made by SEnuke that does not fit any of the above rules goes through your proxies. There is zero leakage, everything not already covered will go through the proxy every single time.

Setting Up Captcha Breaker, Spamvilla & SEnuke

First select the type of captcha solving which best fits your needs.

Note: The first three all use ‘ZontSEO – Senuke Spetsnaz Configuration’, only the last type ‘Captcha Solving Server’ uses ‘ZontSEO – Server & Workers Configuration’

Proxifier

Captcha Breaker & Spamvilla with Human Solver as Backup

This is by far the best way to work with SEnuke.

You will need:

In Proxifier select ‘File’ > ‘Load Profile’ > ‘ZontSEO – Senuke Spetsnaz Configuration’ to use the correct set of rules.

Install Captcha Breaker

Install Captcha Breaker and configure its options as follows:

CB-Settings-Spamvilla

Enter your own details for Spamvilla and click ‘test’, if everything is OK you will get the result ‘9999.999’

Optional: This is not needed if you have everything setup as above, however if you want to be 100% sure recaptcha is always send to Spamvilla in the main Captcha Breaker window go to:

  • Captcha Type > Other > Recaptcha

Untick this and then right click on it and select ‘toggle use of captcha service’, it should then look like this:

CB-recaptca

Setup SEnuke

Then in SEnuke option set it as follows:

Spetsnaz-Config-V2-Triple-Captcha-Setup

We use ‘Captcha Sniper’ option but this will in fact send the captcha to Captcha Breaker. Click ‘Test Captcha Sniper’ and it should give a positive result, for the backup option you can use anything except for Captcha Sniper. Do no buy Captcha Sniper for use with this method, it will not work!

Set the number of retries for Captcha Sniper between 4 and 6, this depends somewhat on your quality of your proxies. We don’t suggest going above 6 as it results in too many attempts on broken sites and slows the whole process down. Remember this is a ‘balancing act’ of speed, cost and success.

Spamvilla With Human Solver as Backup

Out of the box SEnuke does not support MegaOCR, so we have to use emulation to get it working.

You will need:

In Proxifier select ‘File’ > ‘Load Profile’ > ‘ZontSEO – Senuke Spetsnaz Configuration’ to use the correct set of rules.

Install & Configure Spamvilla Decaptcher Emulator

This step can be a little tricky, you will need to download and install the emulator provided by ‘Kelvin the Champ’ in the Spamvilla support section. The issue here is that this application only works using 127.0.0.1 and port 80, if you have anything else running on the same port:ip then it is not going to work and you will have to reconfigure the other services.

If you are unable to do this then your only option will be to run with a different service, most like Reverse Proxies OCR which allows you to change the ip:port it uses. However your success will be much lower. As such we suggest if you can’t get the Emulator working that you use the Captcha Breaker method mentioned above instead.

Setup SEnuke

Then in SEnuke option set it as follows:

MegaOCR & Human SEnuke Settings

Set the primary to ‘Decaptcher’ enter anything for the username and password and click ‘Check Captcha Balance’ if it returns ‘10000’ then everything is working fine. Any other sum returned indicates an error.

Web Hosting

Captcha Breaker & Spamvilla Only

Be warned that going for 100% OCR only solving will lower your success in SEnuke by 15-50%, however you will of course have a captcha cost of $0/month so its a valid method especially for running Tier2 or Crash & Burn strategies.

OCR Only

Note the backup Captcha Service is unticked.

The number of attempts should be increased to 5 in order to get the most out of OCR only, this will result in slightly slower running times.

Adding In Spamvilla 2nd Try

If you want to maximise your results here you can add in the Spamvilla Decaptcher Emulator and set SEnuke to use that as a Secondary service. This will give better results for sure, but it is not an easy configuration. To do this you will need to reconfigure Captcha Breaker to not use 127.0.0.1:80 but instead use a different combination, you will then also need to change the rules in proxifier so that SEnuke can send captcha to the new Captcha Breaker ip:port. If you really want to setup this way, and are unable to do it, you can contact us on the helpdesk for a price to set it up for you. However we strongly suggest you use the basic captcha breaker setup at the top of this page if you are personally unable to set it up as that is much easier to configure and keep working. Setting up the emulator will give you an extra 0.5-1% success, not a huge increase but it is at $0 cost.

Captcha Solving Server

This allows you to run with just one copy of Captcha Breaker for multiple systems, we have tested this up to 6 copies of SEnuke running at the same time with no visible impact on performance.

This setup has two different parts, the server and the worker. You can run programs on the server just like the workers, but be sure to set them up correctly.

This configuration it mildly technical, but we believe most people will be able to set it up OK themselves. If you are unable to get this working we can configure it for you, including the security settings for the firewall, at a cost of $100 for the server and then $30/worker. Put in a request on the help desk if you need this, however its well worth having a go yourself first.

Owing to its complexity we are not offering free support on this setup.

You will need:

On all machines in Proxifier select ‘File’ > ‘Load Profile’ > ‘ZontSEO – Server & Workers Configuration’ to use the correct set of rules.

On every worker and server open up Proxifier > ‘Profile’ > ‘Proxy Servers’ and locate server 123.123.123.123:80  and click edit, now change this to the IP of your server and keep it on port 80.

Server Configuration

 Install Captcha Breaker

Install Captcha Breaker and configure its options as follows:

CB-Settings-Spamvilla-server

In the ‘Listen On’ section insert your servers IP, then restart Captcha Breaker.

Setup SEnuke

Then in SEnuke options set it as follows:

SENuke VPS

On The Worker Machine

The worker machines do not require anything other than proxifier to be installed and configured as mentioned above, this is user to intercept the captcha requests from SEnuke and send them to our captcha solving server we have just created.

Install your proxies as normal with our tool. As each machine requires proxies it is cheaper to use a service like Squid as their proxies can be used on up to 10 machines at once.

Setup SEnuke

Then in SEnuke options set it as follows:

Spetsnaz-Config-V2-Triple-Captcha-Setup

The requests to Captcha Sniper will be intercepted by Proxifier and sent to the captcha solver on your server, that in turn will send the reply back to Proxifier and back to SEnuke. If your servers are physically located near each other the time needed for this is very small, our inter server pings are typically 1ms at most.

Captcha Server Security

By default your captcha server will solve any captcha people send to it, so if somebody else knew you were doing this they could latch on and use your service for free. This is highly unlikely, but also easy and free to prevent.

Open your Windows Firewall and go to Advanced Security options and select ‘Inbound Rules’. In the list of names look for ‘GSA Captcha Breaker’ and double click on the one with protocol TCP. Then under ‘scope’ click on ‘These IP addresses’ and add in the IP address of your server and all worker machines.

Secure Server IP

Any IP not authorised here will be rejected by the firewall.

Conclusion

No matter which option you use from above you should see an OCR solve rate of 50-85%, the range is wide because it depends upon what sites are in SEnuke and the proxies you use. In 2014 Google has started to flag proxies quickly and giving them harder to solve recaptcha, this results in a drop in OCR performance for such sites. If you have the time you can reduce this performance drop by re-running account creation for failed sites manually a few hours.

Other options include making use of our ReCaptcha proxies rule and using special proxies just for this captcha type. There are several methods and solutions for this, though just about none of them are published anywhere because they all have low total volumes of users before the method would be broken. We ourselves have our own solution which is available on a first come first served basis for a few SEnuke users at $100/month for the first copy of SEnuke and $25/month for each extra copy. That includes the cost of all proxies to be used in SEnuke, contact us on the helpdesk to join the queue for this service if you want access.

Please remember that what we have presented here is a generic ‘one size fits all’ solution, every PC has a different setup and you may need to adapt things slightly depending upon what other services you are running. To put that in to perspective our own setup uses 9 different rules in proxifier, specifically setup for our own needs. You can add your own rules in without problem and still use our proxy filler tool.
